I think there is lack of teaching in today's church. I think preaching is for people that has not
received the Gospel yet. Then people should go through a discipleship program.

This inmy opinion is the way to grow and mature as christians , by studying and teaching the word of God. Sometimes people are just looking for emotions in the church and I am amazed how many people has never shared their faith with other people.

Of all the religions, Christianity stands in the face of all others and challenges all others with an impossible standard, a risen King. All others are systems of living, that is to include Judism (of which the Christian Faith is based from). Each has a good way to live, that is to be certain. However, Christianity has the only way to live eternally in heaven (according to the Scriptures, we will all live eternally either in the presence or the absence of God Almighty). Ours is the only one that accepts what is said of us (we each are, even in the best of conditions, filty rotten sinners in need of salvation) as opposed to working your way to a form of Heaven. Sadly, some "churches" have begun to teach the same flawed theology of the other religions. "Each of us has turned our own way." (Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3) Instead of looking to ourselves for salvation, we must look to the only one that has lived a perfect life, died in our place, raised from the dead, reigns, and will return to have EVERY knee bow and tongue confess that He is Lord.

First define religion: Religion is man "trying" to reach God. Christianity: Is God reaching down to man. Religion is a "self-initiated" effort to know God on one's personal terms. Christianity is Faith in a living God through the person of Jesus Christ, God the Son. The body of Christ is a living breathing organism that has Christ as the head; the church is not trained nor equipped in its SUNDAY SCHOOL...school...a training ground for the believer. The local church...the accountability place. Bible Studies outside the church are "trying" to fill in the gap the local church should be doing. They are good, but there is really no accountability there. We have a social gospel today, a watered-down "Christianity" and we are too much like the world. So with all this said, the church does not know what to believe because they do not know the WORD of GOD. There is ONE GOD and no one can come to HIM in prayer except through Jesus Christ...so if Jesus is excluded...these religions are praying to "gods" of their own making. As for the "other" books...they do not hold a candle to the living, breathing, written Word of God. The WORD is God breathed into the hearts and minds of 40 different writers...but just ONE AUTHOR. Our Author lives...the writers of the other books are dead...just like their "spiritual" truths. Wake up Church! Let's be about our Father's Business in equipping disciples...go and MAKE DISCIPLES...teach the doctrine and disciplines of the WORD.

The time has come, just as it did for Israel, to choose what God or gods we will serve. Israel was just as confused as the church is today. It is time for each of those who claim to be Christian to choose whom they will serve. Yeshua,(Jesus)is the only one who gave His life and rose from the dead for all who will choose to serve the only true and living God through accepting His only Son who He sent to redeem mankind from the terrible price of sin. Buddhism does not even teach or believe in God let alone that sin is the cause of all of man's sufferings. All other religions of the world seek to work out their own salvation. Faith in Christ is and always will be the only true faith that is free for the asking. All others seek to enslave and keep a person from the true way to God, even Islam. Yes, Islam,like Christianity and Judaism, teach and believe in only One God but which god? This is why the blinders are being taken off many Muslims and all three divisions of Judaism are coming to the true and Only God through faith alone Yeshua,(Jesus) this includes Buddhists and all other false religions of the world.

Christianity is the only true religion,for Jesus says I am the way the truth and life no man cometh to the father but by me so I follow the only true religion and walk the narrow path to Jesus in victory
